How do I book a session?
Contact me to find out availability. Deposits are required to book your session and hold your spot. This deposit will count towards your session fees that are due on or before the day of the session. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of booking
What if I want to imitate an image I saw online? While it is super important to have an idea of images or a feeling you might want to project or focus on, you are individuals. I will try to create the same feel or idea, but the images we create together are part of my art. I promise my goal is to make you super happy with the images we create together. Definitely share your likes with me, but also trust me. I promise I am giving my best!!!
How Long will it take to receive our photos? Within 24-48 hours of your session, I will feature a sneak peek of your session on my Instagram @honeybphotostx.
Within 4 weeks following your session, I'll send you a link to your online gallery with all of your final, retouched, high-resolution images. You can share the link with family & friends, post to social media, and more!
What do you mean by downloadable images: The images in the viewing gallery can be downloaded right to your computer. They are all high resolution files for printing large, high quality photos; if, you so desire. When you print, you should be asked for a print release, which is sent with your downloaded images. Pressing the download all button will send a file to the email that you signed in with. HINT: You must use the email you gave me to have access to your downloadable images. When you receive the file in email, you must remember to DOWNLOAD the files onto a USB or hard drive before the gallery expires. The amount of images will depend upon the package you paid for. You can choose the number of images your package calls for but once you have finalized those and they have been sent, Any extras will have to be paid for separately.
What if I need to cancel/reschedule?
Unless weather prevents us from going forward with your session, you must give a 48 hour notice to reschedule. Deposits hold that date and prevent me from giving another interested party that date and time slot you requested. Therefore I miss out on the opportunity to secure funds I budget for once you book with me. Deposits are non-refundable or transferrable.
Do you travel? Yes. In a nutshell, yes. Travel rates apply, but I also do out of state sessions when I travel and usually try to advertise prior to those dates.
Is the print release important? YES! Keep your print release. It enables you to print from the print vendor of your choosing. Each picture contains metadata. That is detailed information regarding the settings the camera was on when the photo was taken. It is also stamped with my copyright. The print release allows you to print my images as is. May I just say, Walgreens is not the way. I am not saying I have never printed there, shhhh. I am saying I don't print there if the image is going up in my home.
Do you give out RAW files?
Nope! As a service to you, I automatically eliminate any test shots, photos where someone has blinked or wind has blown hair in your face, and any duplicate photos from your gallery. That way you get the best quality possible. I spend many hours processing these files so that they are an accurate representation of your day and represent the work you see on my website. Another reason we don’t deliver these files is because they are HUGE. Like seriously MASSIVE. We have big storage drives for the sole purpose of housing these files. It would be nearly impossible to deliver them to you, and you couldn’t even physically and legally print these raw files if you tried. Don’t worry! We’ve got ya covered. Everything you will receive is the top-notch quality that we can deliver
What is your best advice for a great session with optimal results?
The best sessions are those that trust me, Enjoy, If you are a couple, follow my prompts and try to be vulnerable, laugh, be intimate. I completely understand if you are not natural in front of the camera. I myself am a train wreck and need lots of direction! Just trust me, I have your best in mind.
If you are a parent, no matter what your kids are doing, work on being in the moment. My favorite sessions are those that can let go of all the stress of expectations for each of the members in the session and take care of you. My job is to help everyone relax, I have 4 kids. I know your kids aren't perfect. Try to keep a calm voice and know that if they don't do exactly what we need you can correct ill behavior calmly, and I will get the shots! Let them play, there are beautiful moments in play! <3
